Reina,
I love how much we are alike and I hope this doesn't blind me to your uniqueness or make you feel like less than the wonderful individual you are. I know you are struggling with not getting the college acceptance letters that you, your father, and I all feel you should have. I hope you are accepting through faith that you will be guided to where you need to go. It is so hard to take the ego out of the picture-yes, parents have huge egos when it comes to their children's accomplishments.
You are making some very good choices and I pray that when you do go away to college-they continue. When I went away to college-the best decisions weren't always made by me or those around me. May you not need a guardian angel working overtime.
I want you to know how amazed I am at your artistic ability! I know our focus with you has always been math and science with a side of writing. I hope you did not feel limited by us. I am so impressed with your God given talent in sketching-wow! Please continue to develop this, I love your work and how your face lights up when you talk about your artwork.
Hang in there kid and know I will always love you.

How can I love you so much and you drive me so crazy?
Brianna,
I cannot believe what different people we are. I think that is what I like best about you-you are not me and you continually provide me with something to discover about you. I love your tender, caring heart. Your ability to see past your own nose at an age where most teenage girls don't care-you do.
Your latest campaign (aside from your scarves for the needy) is your campaign to help our fat cat Belle rediscover the kitten in her. I love how she has overcome your buzziness. Yes, I said buzzy, like a bee, ness. Your energy vibrates and you have always found a way to annoy that poor cat-even when you were trying to love on her. Well, you have found a way to not annoy her and I love that about you. I love that you have decided to help that cat get some energy and find an attitude adjustment. I think part of her problem was that she was feeling neglected and you have fixed that. Thank you.
I want to apologize for getting impatient with you sometimes. There is a difference between seeing the clinical manifestations of ADD and living through them with someone. This is my problem (the impatience), not yours. I hope as I continue to work on my patience, you see that I am trying.
Always know that I love you!
